June 2008 - The CARES Program is launching once again for 2008-2009. All CARES applicants must attend a Mandatory CARES Orientation. APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED AT THE APPLICATION ORIENTATIONS; NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED VIA MAIL OR FAX. Please visit the Calendar of Events to download the latest flyer and call Child Action, Inc. at (916) 369-0191 to pre-register. Space is limited so registration is required.

May 2008–The 2007-2008 CARES Program has come to a close and we are proud to announce that over $715,000 in cash stipends was allocated to nearly 500 early care professionals.
