 Free Tax Assistance for Eligible Families 
Families who earned a household income of $49,000 or less in 2009 can receive
free tax preparation from certified tax preparers through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Services are available in a variety of languages at VITA sites conveniently located at community organizations
across Sacramento County. Families can save more of their hard-earned money and claim tax credits through the
